First UK partner to achieve Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialisation - Networking Services in Microsoft Azure

UBDS is proud to announce that they are the first Microsoft Gold Partner in the UK to achieve the Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialisation – Networking Services in Microsoft Azure.

UBDS has been delivering large network transformations for public and private sector clients for many years and their employees have deep knowledge, specialist skills and years of on-the-job experience.

This specialisation is a validation of UBDS’s expertise in designing, implementing, operating, and optimising customers’ network architecture, cost, and security.

Only partners with a Gold Cloud Platform competency qualify to achieve an advanced specialisation. While the Gold competency validates Microsoft partners who have a broad capability, the Advanced Specialisation measures more in-depth capabilities, and partners who qualify are required to undergo a stringent audit to prove this.

With the Gold Cloud Platform competency in hand, UBDS underwent an audit that consisted of two modules with a third-party auditor. The first module required UBDS to prove their competency in Cloud Foundation, which was done by highlighting their defined and consistent approaches to cloud strategy, planning, design, governance, and management.

The second module covered Networking Services in Microsoft Azure, and this demonstrates UBDS’ ability to ensure customer success across all phases of deploying Azure networking solutions, through the adoption of their robust end-to-end processes. From third party certifications, to assessing customers’ requirements, solution design, implementation proof, service validation and testing, through to post-deployment documentation.
