Women in Public Sector IT Strategy Forum – February 2022

UBDS are looking forward to taking part in the Women in Public Sector IT Strategy Forum taking place on 1-2 February 2022 .

The Women in Public Sector IT Strategy Forum has a few key objectives:

• To provide a space where female leaders can share insight in the projects they are working on
• A forum to inspire their peers with the ideas fuelling their transformational and strategic plans
• Encourage the community of leaders to discuss how under-representation can be addressed moving forward

Attendees can look forward to keynotes and presentations covering themes such as knocking down barriers and overcoming prejudices, diverse journeys within the IT sector, accelerating the customer journey through automation and more.

Key Presentations

The opening keynote will be presented by Jacqui Lipinski, Chief Information Officer and Director of Digital and Technical Services, from the Royal College of Art. Jacqui will be sharing her journey, the benefits and pitfalls of implementing cloud technology. Other presentations will be covering reusable capabilities and low code tech, the evolution of digital services and authenticity in leadership.

Our Head of Data, Analytics and AI, Silvia Lehnis, will be presenting “Re-designing reactive legacy systems into data-driven predictive services”. Silvia will share our customer case study, where we helped to automate data processing and insights with low code, developed foundations for machine learning solutions and the cultural and process shift that took place when implementing a data-driven operating model.
